| The Living Photo Booth A new Mermaid Parade Ball Tradition I am currently working on an ongoing project documenting the participants of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade Ball (2005 and 2006) and other CIUSA events that I am invited to attend. The goal is for the museum to have images of the Ball’s participants and their community, as well as to capture the fun, excitement, and the amazing costumes and creativity that everyone brings to these events. Ultimately I will work with the curator of the museum to donate prints to the museum for posterity. It is a labor of love and proceeds from the print sales on Shutterfly will go to benefit the museum. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I have in making them!
